Nestled in the Piedmont Plateau region, Howard County’s typography is defined by endless rolling hills spanning over 254 square miles. Given its lush pastures, Howard County served chiefly as farming county for the State of Maryland. Now having been discovered by eager builders and developers, new neighborhoods dot the horizon. While this tax base has enriched our county, Hank stands for a balanced growth approach toward future development.

The top 5 largest employers of our district consist of Howard County Public School System, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, Howard County Government, Howard County General Hospital, and Verizon. But what is the racial makeup of these companies? Hank believes equal access and opportunity must be granted to talented BIPOC individuals.
